This is a small-sized practice with incredible opportunities for growth.**About the Role:**We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team to primarily support our lead Doctor. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a thriving practice and provide top-tier care to our discerning clientele. The ideal candidate will be a true professional with a passion for aesthetics, exceptional clinical skills, and a dedication to providing an unparalleled patient experience.**Responsibilities:**- **Patient Care:** Greet and escort patients to treatment rooms, prepare patients for procedures, obtain medical histories, document vital signs, and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit.- **Assisting with Procedures:** Assist physicians with a variety of aesthetic procedures, including but not limited to injectables (Botox, fillers), laser treatments, and other non-surgical cosmetic procedures. This may include preparing treatment rooms, setting up equipment, and providing support during procedures.- **Inventory Management:** Maintain accurate inventory of medical supplies and equipment. Order supplies as needed and ensure proper storage and handling.- **Sterilization and Infection Control:** Adhere to strict sterilization and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff. - **Administrative Tasks:** Perform administrative duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, managing patient charts, and processing payments.- **Patient Education:** Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions, as well as information on skincare products and other related topics.- **Team Collaboration:** Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient practice operations.**Qualifications:**- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical setting, preferably in a dermatology, plastic surgery, or aesthetic practice.- Current Medical Assistant certification.- Proven experience assisting with aesthetic procedures, including injectables and laser treatments.- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.- Strong clinical skills, including taking vital signs, administering injections, and performing other routine medical tasks.- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.- Detail-oriented and highly organized. - Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.- A positive attitude and a passion for aesthetics.
